I have been interested in learning about and creating art since I was a young girl. My love of art has evolved through the years into many different directions. The most awesome thing in my life was my decision to start college after my children were grown, and to become an art teacher. Teaching art was the most rewarding and challenging thing that I have ever done, and to see the student's self-esteen build as they learned, created, and saw their own art on display made my heart soar! I am retired now, and I still remember all the things that my students taught me. I am now concentrating on my own mixed media art which includes, acrylic painting, collage, drawing, journaling and alter art of all sorts. I now enjoy teaching art to adults part time, and hosting a online and a local art group!
